We are Mar y Tierra, an agency that offers local adventure tourism activities, seeking to promote outdoor recreational experiences with the great objective of promoting conservation and environmental education. We have professionals passionate about their work who seek from the first moment to share their knowledge and respect for the environment with enthusiasm, taking care of every detail so as not to generate an impact in the area, thus trying to convey a sense of belonging and affection for the region. .
For more than 7 years we have been dedicated to adventure tourism from its various disciplines as a guide for rafting, hiking, canopy and other related activities. Traveling through various continents doing seasonal seasons, has allowed us to glimpse the great tourist potential that Chile has and, in turn, the central coast, where you can find a wide range of biological diversity on which our love for nature and our mission are sustained. of wanting to protect it through education.
Since 2020 there has been a sustained increase in the resident population of the areas surrounding Zapallar, this is partly due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and today it is essential to offer the possibility of exploring these natural spaces in a responsible and environmentally-committed way. .

Manuel Saavedra
He is a guide and founder of Mar y Tierra tourism, he has university studies corresponding to the degree of higher technician in administrative tourism and higher technician in adventure tourism guide with a mention in white waters. In addition to this, he is a WFR certified rescuer as well as a PADI certified diver. His passion for nature is intermingled with teaching aspects, also having experience as a Montessori educator. His professional training outside of Chile has allowed him to reach a high level of English, also being a bilingual guide.
Maria Elena Saavedra
She is an administrative partner of Turismo Mar y Tierra. She has more than 25 years of experience in managing travel agencies and incoming tourism, her training and work in the field has allowed her to glimpse the needs that tourists present individually or in groups, contributing with her vision to the logical aspects. and Management.
